Gujarat CID’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) is investigating FIRs against four registered but unrecognised political parties over alleged fake political donations and tax evasion. Based on Income Tax Department complaints, the cases involve an initial estimated loss of around ₹680 crore, while the alleged tax evasion across four cases is reported to be over ₹700 crore.
