After gaining entry into medicine in 2018, I took a gap year and decided to start my own business, helping to support other young dyslexic students to achieve their goals- academic or otherwise. I run student and staff PDs, public information evenings for families and also do a bit of mentoring for students with dyslexia. In order to spread my positive message to more young people with dyslexia, I joined youtube and started to create a channel based around dyslexia and related issues. I desperately want to remove the shame label associated with dyslexia and encourage all young people to take pride in who they are and how they think and find their tribe.
