Home to around 54 million people and an economy that is opening up to the world, Myanmar is on the fast track for development. Although the economy is growing, the need is very high, particularly as urban centres grow, and rural communities risk being left behind. The need in the country is great, but the potential of its people is greater. People like Myint Myint, a widowed weaver in Mandalay, who was struggling to feed her young son after the death of her husband. After hearing about VisionFund, Myint Myint took out a loan to buy a weaving machine. Watch this video to hear how her story ends.
