During Our Road Trip to Harsil, We planned to do a trekking and we found the very short trek Called Saat Tal Trek (Sattal) which start from the village called dharali. It is roughly 4 KM far from Harsil and on the way to Gangotri Dham. If you are planning for this trek. You can do it on your own without any guide.
