Hasan Shukri Street was named after Hasan Shukri (1876–1940), an Arab politician and mayor of Haifa who played a crucial role in the city's development and fostering peaceful relations among different ethnic groups. ✨ 🗺️ Key Landmarks on Hasan Shukri Street 1. Haifa City Hall. 🏢    Our journey begins at the administrative building of the municipality, a symbol of governance and city development. This impressive five-story structure was built in 1942 and is adorned with a large city emblem above its entrance. 2. Old Courthouse. ⚖️    Next to the city hall stands the old courthouse, constructed in 1931. This low-rise building, clad in limestone, features a beautiful iron grille on its main door. Until 2003, court sessions were held here, and today it serves as a reminder of past legal systems. 3.
