West End Eagles🦅Narasu➕HG Nest Palooza🎉She Wins Tug-o-Wing➕He Brings Food Gift💝 explore | 2026 Nov 1

As we get to know Narasu and HG*, it was great to have them on camera all day so we could observe and learn. This day-in-the-life video shows the extensive nestorations they’ve done to the nest I’ll always think of as Thunder and Akecheta’s, who would be proud of the work these new residents have done. It also shows 4-1/2-year-old Narasu taking charge about “owning” food that comes into the nest. It appeared that HG may have brought her a pigeon gift, but we can’t be sure if it was meant as such or if he’s learned that all food is hers. More nestorations and then Narasu brought in a large Garabaldi, which she wasn’t about to share, but did eventually give HG a bite (in a very touching moment). At day’s end, they went to the night roost, like other eagle pairs have always done. Fingers crossed they settle in for nesting season in a month or so. *HG stands for Handsome Guy, a nickname given to the male until the couple mate and produce eggs (fingers crossed).
