This video features a Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CSR/CRRC Qingdao Sifang Refurbished C151B, trainset 649/650, which is from Ulu Pandan Depot (UPD) to serve the North-South Line (NSL) for the entire day under the Sunday/Public Holiday Schedule, from NS22 Orchard to NS19 Toa Payoh stations, bound for NS1 Jurong East - Platforms D/E.
Even though the PHM C151B train has been in Revenue Service for 4 months already, the train is still facing some minor teething issues with the acceleration taking slightly longer for the train to start-up, and with the braking being completely CMI where it would harshly brake upon Coasting Brake in an attempt to be 1-step braking.
The braking would sometimes be so bad that it can literally underrun the PSD by half-a-door and still counts as the "correct" stopping position. This was prominent when the train was arriving at NS21 Newton (1:51 onwards).
