GTA 2: Industrial District - Zaibatsu Job 2 - Grand Theft Auto! (Walkthrough)

Gameplay/walkthrough of the 2nd Zaibatsu job/mission of the Industrial District in the original GTA 2 game for PC! Grand Theft Auto! is the second mission in the Industrial District in Grand Theft Auto 2 given to protagonist Claude Speed by Zaibatsu leader Uno Carb. The mission is available from one of the two green Zaibatsu phones in Chemists, Bayano of the Industrial District. Mission Information: The objective is to steal 4 cars located throughout the Industrial District. The first car is a Jefferson, gaurded by 4 Hare Krishna gang members. The second car is a Russian Bulwark driving around town. The third goal is Rumbler, located on Mad Island. The only footbridge leading to these docks starts on Mad Island. When you get to the car, drive over the ramp and escape the island. The last objective in this mission is a Cop Car , standing on a trailer at the police station. To steal it you will need a tow truck so you must first steal Truck Cab. Go to the police station, hook up the tow truck and go to the crane in Escobar. This will put the vehicle on the ground; get into it and park it in the garage near the Power Core - just like with the 3 previous cars. Dialog: Uno Carb: "Hey, Gecko, it's me, Uno Carb. If you fancy causing some trouble, try stealing the Jefferson down at Krishna Krushers." "Success, Gecko! Now park the Jefferson at the Zaibatsu Power Cores." "A Kovski Bulwark in the Russian area is waiting to make a drop. Smash and grab it, Gecko." "Impressive, Gecko. Deliver the Bulwark and its cargo to the Zaibatsu Power Cores." "There is an unmarked car containing two fine bitches near Mad Island. It's next on the shopping list for you, Gecko!" "The car is on the island near the Docks, Gecko. The only available access is via these rooftops." "You are resourceful, Gecko, but the final vehicle will test your wits. The Cop Car I want is on a Trailer in Azeri Heights... So steal a Truck Cab!" "Hook up the Cop Car Trailer, Gecko. Cool, Gecko! Head for the Zaibatsu Power Core Crane and deposit your cargo." "Park the Cop Car, Gecko, and we will mix business with pleasure tonight! Reward: The reward for completing this mission is $40,000. --------------------------- Zaibatsu Corporation: The Zaibatsu Corporation is a powerful Japanese-American crime syndicate featured throughout all three districts in Grand Theft Auto 2. They appear frequently throughout the entire game, as their presence can be seen and felt in all three districts of Anywhere City. They became embroiled into a violent struggle over control of business interests and gang territories with all other gangs in Anywhere City during the period of which Grand Theft Auto 2 is set in. Members of the Zaibatsu Corporation, or "Z-Men", are known to wear black or dark grey suits and drive customized Z-Type cars with a black color scheme and the organization's golden "Z" symbol painted on the roof. To gain Zaibatsu respect, Claude needs to kill Hare Krishna gang members. Working for Jerkov and the Russian Mafia will lower the player's faction with the Zaibatsu Corporation. The following gangs that contests the control by the Zaibatsu Corporation are: Yakuza, the Rednecks, the Scientists, the Loonies, the Hare Krishna, and the Russian Mafia. They were presumed to be the most powerful criminal organization of all in Anywhere City during the time of Grand Theft Auto 2. The top-ranking leaders of the Zaibatsu Corporation frequently refer to Claude Speed by the nickname "Gecko". --------------------------- Industrial District: The Industrial District is the industrial area of Anywhere City. It is also the third and the last level player could be in Grand Theft Auto 2. The district is largely comprised of factories, although the district has flats. The district has four gangs: the The Zaibatsu Corporation, the Hare Krishna, the Russian Mafia and an unnamed gang based on Mad Island, who always attack the player. Like other districts, there are three gangs that Claude Speed can work for: Uno Carb (of The Zaibatsu Corporation), Sunbeam (of the Hare Krishna) and Jerkov (of the Russian Mafia). The highest wanted level you can get yourself into in Industrial District is 6 stars, which means police roadblocks and SWAT teams trying to bust you, the FBI trying to stop you and finally the army being introduced. Throughout the city you can find collectable GTA Tokens and Kill Frenzies, which the player can complete by running over people or destroying cars. There are 22 missions in the Industrial District, 7 for each of the three gangs and one Final Job. The goal is to earn 5,000,000 dollars through missions and playing the game. Once this goal is reached the player will have completed all districts and finished that part of the game.
