Tangmere heads thro' Gargrave and then gets "stoned" (20 Apr 2026)

SR light pacific 34067 Tangmere was at the head of RTC's, Great Britain XVlll on day 3 of its trip around the country; Chester to Carlisle via Sheffield. 47812 was on the rear. Seen first climbing through Gargrave station on its way to a stop at Hellifield where 34067 would take on water and coal. Unfortunately, the stop took longer than anticipated and the train lost its path. It had to follow a Leeds to Carlisle service AND a northbound stone train from Arcow Quarry. The stone train helped by running a few minutes early but Tangmere was held at the signal just north of Horton in Ribblesdale until 66790, "Louise" had completed its run round at Blea Moor.
