63% of men under 30 are single. Almost double the rate for women. But the reasons men give aren’t the whole story.
“I’m focusing on myself.” “I have standards.” “The apps are rigged.” Ask single men why they’re single and you’ll hear the same lines. Some of it is true. A lot of it is a cover story, and most men have never looked underneath it.
In this video, I break down the hidden reason so many men are staying single: the invisible rejection. It’s a kind of rejection where nobody ever says no, but it still shapes how men date, how they live, and whether they try at all.
Through the stories of three men, Daniel, Chris and Marcus, we explore:
▸ Why so many dates feel like an interview where only he’s being graded
▸ The “beginner at 28” problem, and why inexperience gets mistaken for a flaw
▸ How a slow text reply turns into “evidence,” and why a dating app can start to feel like a vote you lost
▸ The friendship recession, and why fewer close friends makes every date weigh more
▸ How men reject themselves before anyone else can, then call it “standards”
▸ Ghosting vs. a straight-up no, and which actually hurts more
▸ Why “I’m focusing on myself” can mean three completely different things
▸ Three practical steps to start trying again
This isn’t about blaming women. It’s about what’s going on inside men’s heads, and why so many have stopped asking “Do I like her?” and only ask “Am I enough?”
