no amount of hating yourself will make you any more lovable

talking down on ourselves brings no value. the only thing it does is perpetuate the darkness we're already experiencing. if your friend was calling themselves names and beating themselves up, what would you do? hopefully help them. so what about you? what about when you're doing that to yourself? be a friend to yourself.
