MOMA Renewable Energy: Turning Waste into Clean Energy | YEIC Impact Story

MOMA Renewable Energy is a Kenyan environmental enterprise that transforms spoiled bananas and factory-rejected sugarcane into clean cooking-grade bioethanol fuel. The organisation also converts production residue into animal feed, demonstrating how waste can be turned into valuable products that support environmental sustainability. Through the Young Environmentalists Innovators Challenge (YEIC), implemented by the Kenya Community Development Foundation (KCDF), MOMA has received support to strengthen and scale its environmental innovation.
