Backpacking Mount Langley and Cirque Peak 4K

Overnight backpacking trip to the summit of Cirque Peak (12,900’) and Mount Langley (14,024’). Driving up from San Diego on a Thursday, we spent the night at Cottonwood Lakes Trailhead Campground to acclimate. Friday morning, we hiked out to High Lake where we set up our tent. After lunch we hiked up New Army Pass and summitted Cirque Peak. Saturday morning, we summited Mount Langley returning to High Lake midafternoon. After packing up our tent we returned to the Cottonwood Lakes Trailhead. Total mileage was 29 miles with just over 6,000’ of gain for the 2 days.
