The one moment worth the whole drive is at the Saratoga St corner in East Boston: two people step off the curb, the car sits at 0 mph, the display shows both of them, and it moves the moment they clear. What you get: the Southeast Expressway at a crawl, the I-90 tunnel under Fort Point Channel in single digits for five minutes, the toll gantry, the Ted Williams Tunnel, Route 1A, the Boardman St right turn with the blind-spot camera up, the crosswalk stop, and about 50 seconds at a red on Saratoga St. Real time through every stop, merge, turn and the crosswalk; sped up when nothing happens, and the overlay says so. One honest gap: inside the Ted Williams the phone's exposure blew out the display for about three minutes, so the overlay shows NO SCREEN READ there instead of a guess. Speed, state and turn signals are read off the center display four times a second; the accel/brake trace is derived from speed and labelled that way. Cabin audio removed, music added. The mirror, the navigation map for the last five minutes and the plates close enough to read in the slow stretches are blurred; the last leg into Winthrop is cut.
