The Christ-like Character

Sermon by Pastor SG Msimango Title: Christ-like Character Scripture refug Philippians 2:5 Galatians 4:19 Luke 10:28 A Christ like attitude should shape us into being better Christians and shape or character. We need believers to really behave like believers. That is when the Character of Christ is fully formed in a believer. We are ere today to learn about Christ-like character which enables us to live a life that Jesus lived. The enemy robs us through character. Proverbs 18:16 says that a man's gift will bring him before great man, however as much as the gift can bring up infront of important people it cannot sustain us. Character sustains you. Allow God to shape your character. The first sign of Character of Christ is Humbleness. The opposite of it is pride. Philippians 2:8 says Jesus humbled himself though He was equal to God He did not consider it. Being humble doesn't have a certain tone on their voices. This will prevent you from thinking they're humble when they're not. Being humble is not about being loud or soft, you can find someone loud and outspoken but humble at heart or you can find someone soft and not very well spoken but full of pride. Be humble, God will lift you up. May the Holy Spirit guide us and lead us into being humbled. Submission is the key...We need to be submissive and not be full of pride. Submit to one another. Obedience is better than sacrifice God said to Saul. Therefore character should humble us just as the word of God says that Christ was obedient till the death of the cross...
