BUGaru Part 11 - Fuel System

Busaru.com In a Beetle to Subaru engine conversion the fuel system is another piece of the puzzle that takes some thought. Most VW Bugs are carbureted which means you'll have to run either a fuel supply, fuel return, or both, since the Subaru engine is fuel injected. I chose to run a fuel supply line from the tank to the Subaru engine and use the original fuel supply as the return. This is experimental so I'll report back, as the diameter of the line on the original line is fairly small. Follow along to see how the lines were run, where I mounted the fuel pump, and a few other things. Fuel pump used was the Performance Electric P37.
