Our FIRST EVER Dream Team Racing Vlog! 🏁 | Dirtside + MX207 Race Weekends

Welcome to our FIRST EVER Dream Team Racing vlog! 🏁🫶🏼 We’re learning as we go, and I already know there are things we’ll do differently next time, but I am SO freaking happy we finally did this. This one follows us through two race weekends… Dirtside and MX207, and has a little bit of everything. Racing, behind-the-scenes moments, our crew, the chaos and all those random little pieces that make up a race weekend. This vlog sat unfinished for a little longer than I planned. There have been some very heavy moments that changed our racing community, and then this past weekend at MX101 was one of the most difficult race weekends for me personally on a lot of different levels. Somewhere in all of that, finishing this edit became a place for me to bring my mind back to some peace and gratitude. Today, while everyone was at the garage getting ready for our final race of the season, I finished up the last few pieces and had Lillie and Jamie help me finally give it the ending it needed. Right before posting it, I sat down and watched the whole thing one more time by myself. No more editing. No more changing things. Just watching it. And I’m already so glad I finished it. 🥹 MX207 Moto 1 will probably go down as one of my favorite races I’ve ever raced. Getting to watch these weekends back and remember how much fun we had, how much I’ve learned and how many freaking good memories we’ve made was something I think I needed more than I realized. Even watching us working in the garage hit differently. At the time, we had blown motors and everything felt so catastrophic. But watching it back now, I could see the whole picture instead of just what felt hard in that moment. And I think that’s one of the reasons I’m already so grateful we decided to make these vlogs. However they turn out, we’ll have these little pieces of our lives to come back to someday. 💖 We’re new at this. There’s definitely a learning curve. 😂 But if this is vlog #1, I cannot wait to see what these look like a year from now.
