Amtrak Southwest Chief #3 makes long stop at La Plata, Mo.

Amtrak's Southwest Chief makes its nightly stop in La Plata, Missouri on January 7, 2011. The train showed up early and had to sit for a while, and the conductor thought I was the station attendant, and tried to hand me a package. I wish the train had shown up about three minutes earlier, then I could've seen the eastbound freight passing behind it. You should still be able to hear the freight though!
