Combat Maneuvers - Delta Arrow D9

Inspired by the imposing and sleek figures of postmodern stealth jets, the D9 is meant to fly like a classic aeroplane, with the added benefit of dedicated vertical thrusters. Although all EXECUTRON manned craft have full XYZ Vector Thrust, the D9’s delta wing design, combined with its rear ball joint thruster with 30º of biaxial XY pivot range and forward afterburner means that the D9 can execute stalls and other aerobatic maneuvers unique to the fleet. The afterburner can only be used in conjunction with forward thrust as is typical with an aircraft, but with the rear engine pivot, it works for sharp turns just the same. To players, it will operate in most every way like a jet. Engagement and evasion works best with dogfight style tactics, dives, and bank rolls, taking advantage of its speed and narrow head-on profile. An oncoming D9 is difficult to see from the front without radar.
