Tuscany in One Day: Volterra, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni & Siena (ENG/IT SUB)

Four medieval towns in Tuscany in one day, by car: Volterra, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and Siena – and at the end I tell you which one to pick if you only have time for one. 🇬🇧 I speak Croatian in this video – turn on English subtitles (CC). I left Sarzana at 8 am with a simple plan: four towns, one car, as few stops as possible. Etruscan gates in Volterra and the best panorama of the day, the towers of San Gimignano (and the famous Gelateria Dondoli), the walls of Monteriggioni that you might know from Assassin's Creed II – and Siena: the cathedral, Piazza del Campo and sunset from Fortezza Medicea. San Gimignano: climb to Rocca di Montestaffoli for the best view of the towers. Monteriggioni is small – 1 to 1.5 hours is enough, perfect as a stop on the way. Siena: stay for sunset at Fortezza Medicea, then the Duomo at night.
