This time, I'll be making an octagon tea mat. What I liked about making the tea mat was that it made the cake and tea look more luxurious! It feels like the satisfaction of a single tea time has increased. As for areas for improvement, I should have checked the colors of my dishes first (when choosing the fabric, I should have matched the colors of the fabric with the dishes I use frequently) before deciding on the color of the tea mat. Still, it only takes two days to make one, so I’d like to make more in other colors when I have time, and choose a tea mat to match the day’s snack, and enjoy a fun tea time. That’s what I was thinking in the summer of August 2025.
