I Flew 20 Hours from Dubai to New York JUST to Watch Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey in IMAX 70mm

I flew all the way from Dubai to New York City for ONE WEEKEND just to watch Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey in IMAX 70mm. Yes, I actually traveled across the world for a movie. 🎬✈️ Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey (2026) is the first feature film shot entirely with IMAX film cameras, and with no IMAX 70mm screenings in the UAE, I decided to take matters into my own hands. So was flying from Dubai to NYC just to experience The Odyssey the way Nolan intended actually worth it? Or did I take my love for cinema a little too far? 🇵🇭 A huge thank you to Casa Filipina Dubai for generously letting me film in their beautiful space! Casa Filipina is a Dubai-based showroom and platform dedicated to celebrating Filipino craftsmanship, furniture, home décor, and design, helping talented Filipino artisans showcase their creations in the UAE and beyond.
