Shane Williams The 2008 World Player of the Year Reveals His 5 Biggest Rival He Respected Most

Section 1 — Opening Shane Williams faced some of rugby's greatest players — but these are the five he spoke about with the deepest respect. From Bryan Habana and Brian O'Driscoll to Richie McCaw and Paul O'Connell, each name reveals something different about what Williams valued in an opponent. Williams became one of the most celebrated wingers of his generation, winning the 2008 World Rugby Player of the Year award and building a reputation for taking on players far bigger than himself. But behind the speed, confidence and famous banter was a deep respect for certain players — their skill, mentality, resilience, intelligence and character. This documentary follows the stories Williams shared about those players, including the unforgettable 2009 British & Irish Lions tour and the hotel-room encounter with Paul O'Connell.
