I was watching FrameRater's video on the homebrew Serious Sam Vita port when I saw that he had actually featured my Quake 2 Vita gyro video on there when discussing the port's lack of native gyro support. It reminded me that I actually never got around to recording Serious Sam with reVita's stick-to-gyro. I had installed it on my PC, but the project page saying it didn't run well scared me off.
Well, it turns out that Serious Sam TFE not only runs pretty well on the PS Vita, but reVita's stick-to-gyro mapping feels really nice. It's nice and smooth with no deadzone issues and no bias in any direction as far as I can tell. Serious Sam TSE sadly runs at low framerates, though. Do note that the default stick sensitivity is extremely low, and the only way to get it to 61 is to tweak the .ctl file since the number goes up in increments of 2.
