I lost two very beloved members of my family (including my cat Tüte, I’ll never forget you), had to abruptly leave my home because of a traumatic experience, and as a result, I began confronting my drug addiction and getting sober. So yeah, it was legit my ashes-to-phoenix year: hitting rock bottom and deciding, right there, to get back up again. During this time of extreme change, I started working on my second album. These beats helped me cope with my trauma and get through everyday life. Maybe there’s an almost beautiful kind of irony in the fact that, just a few months ago, shortly before finishing the album, I accidentally deleted all of my work beyond recovery. Everything gone. So I’m letting go. Quite literally: I’m letting these tracks out into the world. This is the last remaining state of the project “album 24,” and I think the title "strong feelings" fits everything that went into its creation perfectly. I hope you enjoy it, and see you soon.
