You guys might be wondering why I did version 2 of the midday (2) train. There are some reasons. I was not too happy with how we were slow around 50 St on the southbound leg the first time. Also, I was originally planning to do the rush hour (5) train via the (2) line both ways, but a train with mechanical problems and massive signal problems caused the 🟢Lexington Av Line🟢 to become a parking lot both ways. As a result, the (5) via the (2) bombed disastrously. Unfortunately, since I did other routes and rumors of an R160 running on the (N) train later in the day, plans changed. I was hoping to be able to do a roundtrip with the R142 (4) train, but because I was moving to DC the Saturday that followed this day, I didn’t have enough time to get it. However, since I was already at Flatbush Av and wasn’t 100% happy with the unusual slowdown before 50 St, it made sense to do the midday version of the (2) for the second time in both ways. So yeah, I hope you guys enjoy this and yeah. The (2) is a god tier route just like every route is. I have a lot of runs planned for the summer break when I come back in August including a retry at the (5) via the (2), the R142 (4) train, the Culver Express {F} train and most importantly, more R211 runs because as of June 18, they finally passed the 30 day test. So yeah, there will be all sorts of content coming soon. I apologize for the delay in uploads. Transitioning was a bit of a timely process.
