Today, I visited a Durga Puja pandal and experienced a beautiful part of our traditional culture. In our community, during the Terahvi (13th-day ritual), eating dried Patua leaves is an important part of our tradition. It is something we have followed for generations and holds cultural significance for us. Traditionally, alcohol is also served during this occasion, but drinking alcohol is not mandatory. However, eating dried Patua leaves is considered an essential part of the ritual. Every community has its own unique customs and traditions, and this is one of ours.
