Mackerel Fishing at Furnace - West Coast - Scotland

Mackerel fishing at Furnace, Scotland at the end of August. We arrived early in the morning for a quick stop before our main stop off up at Crinan. We were after some fresh Mackerel to use at Crinan and it as a great very quick session! Unfortunately I didn't record the majority however it was a great morning and would recommend the spot! Ali's set up - Rovex 9ft rod, 6000 reel, 29lb braid - Mackerel Feathers Liam's set up - Shimano 8ft rod, Shimano 5000 reel, 29lb braid - Mackerel Feathers In total we must have caught around 50 mackerel between us! Once they started getting hooked, they didn't stop!
