Kernel: the stock Arch kernel works fine, but linux-zen (or the CachyOS kernel) gives smoother animations and better responsiveness. Compositor: Hyprland on Wayland (included with the dots). Also needed: git, an AUR helper (paru or yay), and a login manager.
