This “End Domestic Abuse” learning webinar series supports our Know, See, Speak Out campaign, which aims to raise awareness of domestic abuse and help get people to safety. Please be aware that issues discussed will include references to domestic abuse.
Developed through partnership working across Kent and Medway, the new Parental Conflict or Domestic Abuse? Guide has been created to improve consistency across the system and to support professionals to confidently distinguish between parental conflict and domestic abuse, particularly in complex situations where there may be counter-allegations or differing professional views.
The guide provides practical information and signposting to existing tools and pathways to support informed decision-making and help ensure families receive the right support at the right time.
This webinar will provide professionals with an overview of the guide, its key messages, and how it can be applied in practice, whilst exploring real-life examples and safeguarding learning to strengthen confidence, consistency, and professional decision-making across agencies.
Who is it for?
This webinar is designed for all professionals working with children, families and adults who may be experiencing parental conflict or domestic abuse, to learn how this new resource can support their day-to-day practice.
