In this episode of the Amazing KidsMin Podcast, Tyler sits down with Pastor Delia Cornwall, Next Gen Pastor at Radiant Church in Tampa, Florida, to discuss how video-based teaching is helping their kids ministry scale across multiple locations without sacrificing meaningful discipleship. As Radiant Church prepares to launch its 13th location, Delia shares why they've embraced high-quality video teaching alongside intentional small-group environments. Rather than expecting every volunteer to be a gifted teacher, their approach allows leaders to focus on what matters most: connecting with kids, building relationships, and helping the next generation grow in their faith. In this episode: Why video teaching can reduce the burden on kids ministry leaders and volunteers How consistent biblical teaching creates more room for relational discipleship Why small groups are central to Radiant Church's kids ministry strategy How to scale kids ministry without losing personal connection Recruiting and retaining volunteers who love serving kids Aligning your kids ministry with the broader vision of your church Timestamps: 00:00 Welcome and Guest Intro 01:02 Radiant Church Growth Story 02:10 Delia KidsMin Journey 05:37 Big Church Same Problems 07:45 Teaching Skills to Discipleship 11:06 Programming and Small Groups 13:31 Why Video Teaching Works 19:09 Recruiting and Retaining Volunteers 22:48 Carrying the House Vision 30:05 Prayer and Send Off Subscribe to the Amazing KidsMin Podcast for more conversations, practical insights, and resources to help you lead a thriving kids ministry. #KidsMin #KidsMinistry #ChurchLeadership #Discipleship #AmazingKids
