From Brittany to Ballintoy: exploring Northern Ireland's earliest megalithic monuments

This talk by Dr Alison Sheridan was presented in March 2026 to an eager audience in Ballitoy Church Hall, Co. Antrim. It follows recent fieldwork at the Druid Stone, Ballintoy, and summarises Dr Sheridan’s ongoing research into the Irish Neolithic, with a special focus on the fascinating links between Brittany and some of our own earliest monuments here in Northern Ireland.
