Allah Hid Your Sin. And Muslims Need to Stop Judging.

If Allah has concealed your sins, be careful about unnecessarily revealing them. Not everyone is the right person to open up to. Not everyone has the wisdom, knowledge, patience, or gentleness to handle someone else's vulnerability properly. But this video is also a criticism of how we sometimes respond when someone has already trusted us with something they are ashamed of. If a person comes to you struggling, regretting what they have done, and looking for guidance, that is not an invitation to attack or humiliate them. You can tell someone that what they did was wrong without making them feel like they are beyond forgiveness. Guide them. Remind them to return to Allah. Remind them to be careful about revealing sins that Allah has already kept hidden for them. And if you do not know how to guide them properly, do not make their situation worse. Direct them towards someone trustworthy and knowledgeable who can help. My main message is simple: Protect what Allah has concealed for you. And when someone becomes vulnerable with you, do not make them regret asking for guidance. For anyone currently struggling with a private sin, do not lose hope. You do not need the whole world to know what you have done in order to sincerely return to Allah.
