MVP Cashes In on Okada at Turning Point 2024 | Saving TNA #24

Can we save TNA? Episode 24 of the TEW2020 save, and Turning Point is the next PPV. New intro. Don’t get used to it. Velvet Sky and Angelina Love are in, the Beautiful People are back, and Velvet is not coming out of retirement, so she is managing instead. Angelina is wrestling and managing. The Militia and the Beautiful People are now a unit, Alicia Edwards gets Velvet, and Masha gets Angelina. If it bombs, it gets changed. Contract feelers are out to Masha Slamovich, Mike Bailey, and Jordynne Grace. All three would be kept. None of them are locks. Turning Point is in South Carolina. About 1,423 in the building. The card going in: • X-Division title, triple threat, with Jonathan Gresham added because a straight one-on-one was not scoring • Knockouts tag titles: Mickey and Trish vs Masha and Alicia • Continental title: MVP cashes in his Bound for Glory Call Your Shot on Okada • Jody challenges Mercedes Mone • Machine Guns defend against Eddie Edwards and Dango • Jeff Cobb vs Rhino, eighth defense, left to the AI • Ronda Rousey and Killer Kelly on the show • Multi-person match booked so Mike Santana stays strong ahead of Okada • DeVito promo with Viper to keep her hot in the Knockouts title picture Also in this one: Explosion’s ratings, the TV deals, whether the TNA app is holding the PPV back, and tours lined up for Canada and Mexico. The booking is a bit “going through the motions,” and the divisions need a reshuffle next episode. Who should get the World Title push? Keep all three free agents, or let one walk?
