The journey to the Shahdag area takes approximately 3–4 hours, depending on the route, traffic and stops along the way. Since the trip includes sightseeing and travel between destinations, the complete tour generally takes around 10–12 hours, from morning until night. 🌈 CANDY CANE MOUNTAINS, AZERBAIJAN One of the highlights of our trip was Candy Cane Mountains, famous for their beautiful, colourful rock formations. The mountains feature natural shades of red, pink, white and other earthy colours, creating a landscape that looks quite different from ordinary mountain scenery. It is a wonderful place for photography, sightseeing and enjoying Azerbaijan’s unique natural beauty. If you love exploring unusual landscapes and taking travel pictures, this destination is definitely worth experiencing. 🏔️ SHAHDAG MOUNTAIN RESORT After exploring Candy Cane Mountains, we also visited Shahdag Mountain Resort in the Greater Caucasus region of Azerbaijan. Shahdag is known for its mountain scenery, cable cars and outdoor adventure activities. We enjoyed the beautiful mountain views and tried some of the exciting activities available at the resort. Whether you love adventure or simply want to enjoy the mountains, Shahdag offers a memorable experience. 🎢 SHAHDAG ACTIVITIES & PRICES Here are the activity prices we paid during our visit. All prices below are per person. 1. ROLLER COASTER — 40 MANAT We tried the mountain roller coaster, which lets you ride along a track surrounded by mountain scenery. It’s a fun option for anyone who enjoys adventure rides and wants to experience Shahdag from a different perspective. Price: 40 Manat per person. 2. ZIPLINE — 25 MANAT The zipline was another exciting activity during our trip. It offers an adventurous experience with beautiful mountain views as you glide along the cable. Price: 25 Manat per person. 3. CABLE CAR — 20 MANAT We also took the cable car towards the upper mountain area. The ride offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and is a great way to enjoy Shahdag’s scenery from above.
