Subscribe for more practical Building Management System training, insights, and real-world industry advice. Our BMS training courses build on the product training provided by BMS companies to develop engineers into professionals who justify repeat work, earn higher fees, and drive business growth. Who is BMS-Training.com for? BMS engineers (design, engineering, commissioning and service), BMS managers, and mechanical consultants. More info here: https://www.bms-training.com Self-paced online training courses. Video, audio and text lessons. Done-for-you Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio design templates. One-off payment for individual courses. Lifetime access to course content. What we cover: Hardware design: points list, control panel, network, etc. Software design: control sequences, graphics, alarms, trends, reports, etc. System design: chilled water, air handling units, terminal units, etc. Optimisation: Demand Control Ventilation, Peak Demand Management, Measurement and Verification, etc. Consulting, project management, commissioning, service, etc. What you will gain: I am going to teach you how to achieve the objective of the course, but just knowing how to design, engineer, manage, commission, and service a BMS is not enough nowadays. I am also going to teach you how to leverage your new technical knowledge to reduce rework, enhance the BMS company's brand, and make more money. Where to begin: If you are new to BMS, start with the 'points list', 'control panel ', and 'network design' courses. If you are ready for something more advanced, start with the 'Chiller Management System (CMS)' course. If you are a project manager, start with the 'Project Management for Engineers' course. If you are a mechanical consultant, start with the 'BMS for mechanical consultants' course. Connect with me on LinkedIn:   / bryce-anderson17   Why our training is different: Most BMS training comes from product manufacturers. How to build the BMS: controller software programming, database development, graphics, alarm, trends, etc. This type of training is important; it teaches you how to create a functional BMS. But it doesn't teach you how to design, commission, service, or project manage the BMS. It doesn't teach you how to mitigate risk; it doesn't teach you how to make money. Our training builds on product training to develop engineers into well-rounded professionals. Why learn from Bryce Anderson: For the first 15 years of my career (1998-2013), I worked for BMS companies (2 years in South Africa, 9 years in London, and 4 years in Australia). Since 2014, I have worked as a BMS specialist consultant. I originally studied electronic engineering, specialising in process instrumentation and control. In my consulting business (80% of my working week), I provide independent advice to building owners and facility managers, develop BMS specifications, run tenders, review BMS contractor technical submissions, witness completed projects and provide technical project management for all major BMS systems and a wide range of BMS companies, from global tier-1 manufacturers to smaller system integrators. This puts me in a unique situation where I have visibility into what everyone is doing. The experience I share in our training courses is made up of my own personal 15 years designing BMS systems, writing software code, commissioning, service and project management (across 3 different regions), plus the best parts of what I see the industry providing. This exposure to the wider industry allows me to provide customised training courses that not only teach the technical side of BMS but also address current real-world issues and constraints in the Building Management System industry. I am not just teaching you what I learned, but the best of what everyone else is doing. Ready to start? https://www.bms-training.com
