MCC Round 2 Final Result CHANGED? 1,756 Option Updates & 7 Rank Differences | NEET UG 2026 Did the MCC NEET UG 2026 Round 2 final result differ from the provisional result? We compared both published PDFs rank by rank to find out. The provisional result was generated on 10 September, and the final result on 12 September. Our comparison found: ✅ 1,756 retained candidate records where the option number changed from 0 to a positive number ✅ 4 ranks appearing in the final PDF but absent from the provisional PDF ✅ 2 ranks with changed allotment details ✅ 1 rank appearing in the provisional PDF but absent from the final PDF The 1,756 updates do *not* mean 1,756 seats changed. Those candidates remained “Retained”; the difference was in the displayed option number. This is our comparison of the two result PDFs. MCC has not provided a separate explanation for the individual changes. If your details differ, check your MCC login and final allotment letter for your official status. A rank absent from the final PDF should not be described as a cancelled seat without confirmation.
