SKYVIEW RESTARANT

The Sky View Tower was a 494ft tall skyscraper with its restaurant, The Sky View, that opened and closed on Friday, May 17th, 1969. Although extremely ritzy and coveted, the tower saw a rushed construction, being opened 5 months ahead of schedule with poor operational standards and abysmal structural quality. Though these flaws could've led to a total collapse and the deaths of all guests during its opening day, such a disaster was entirely prevented by Iris Campbell warning patrons of the impending danger. The tower was closed for inspection and renovations, but never reopened before being demolished.
