First Giesa elevator on this channel! Sadly the inside has been refurbished by a local elevator company but the controller appears to be original as the ride is pretty rough. Love those old LOPs with the Giesa logo which, for some reason, resembles a Schlieren logo. About the brand, Giesa was another major Spanish elevator manufacturer (besides Cenia Pingon) whose history started in the 1940s and had a technical partnership with Schindler. It was bought by Schindler in the late 1970s as an attempt to enter the Spanish market, and for a while it was known as Giesa-Schindler. Therefore Giesa can be considered as the predecessor of Schindler in Spain, just like Cenia with ThyssenKrupp/TKE.
