🌾 PRA ACTIVITY FOR RAWE | Participatory Rural Appraisal. What does an agriculture student actually do during RAWE? In this video, I take you behind the scenes of our Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) activity as part of our Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE). During this activity, different groups of agriculture students work on various PRA exercises and prepare different types of maps and diagrams, including Social Maps, Resource Maps, Transect Walks and other participatory tools. Instead of just learning these concepts from textbooks, we are getting practical exposure to how these tools can be used to understand a village, its people, resources, agricultural activities and local problems. 📍 In this video: • PRA activity preparation • Social Map • Resource Map • Transect Walk • Group activities • Agriculture students working together • RAWE practical experience • Behind-the-scenes moments from our college This is one of the many practical experiences that make RAWE an important part of agricultural education. 🌱 If you're an agriculture student, preparing for RAWE, or simply interested in agriculture and rural development, I hope you'll enjoy this video.
