As I pause for a moment to look back on the days I’ve spent rushing through life, I realize that even the quiet moments when nothing seemed to happen were a grace granted by God. There were days when I thought a day was only meaningful if I accomplished something, and believed that grace was only real if I received an answer. But I confess that those moments when my heart was free of turmoil, when I could simply breathe comfortably— all that rest was already a silent grace.
