London-born composer, producer and saxophonist Laura Misch (@lauramisch1327) has spent close to a decade distilling jazz, electronics and ambient into a singular vision of contemporary experimental music.
On Misch's latest project, Lithic, she descends even deeper, journeying into caves, quarries and coastal edges to sculpt a record shaped by stone, water and wind. We visited Misch in her London studio to discover some of the unique instruments and techniques behind the album's sounds, and how she's translating it for the live stage.
