Tropical Space Camp #10 - REMASTERED

** HIGHEST-QUALITY VERSION ** The 10th Tropical Space Camp! As some of you already know, I do my very best to upload event films within 24 hours of a camp’s conclusion. These films are created entirely within the four or five days of the camp - while I’m on every load (in this case, often making 16+ jumps a day) - and staying up all night editing. That means the version you see posted is about 99% of what we premiered at the event on the big screen the final night. It also means that sometimes I just have to live with some imperfections that inevitably come with creating video art on the fly. I do this for two reasons: A) No one enjoys waiting six months for the videographer to finally get around to posting the video. B) It’s a personal exercise in not becoming paralyzed by the trap of perfectionism. Having said that, it is my pleasure to present a cleaned-up version of Tropical Space Camp #10, with improved post-processing stabilization and color, for posterity and your pleasure! – Tex ______________________________________________________________________ This was a very special year of Tropical Space Camp. Some of the world’s best flyers came together and produced some of the highest-level skydives the sport has seen. This year made me reflect on just how much Tropical has evolved over the past 10 years. What began as an angle skills camp has become a premier event for movement flying, combining canopy flocking, small technical angle groups, and specialty big-way jumps to explore new concepts and push our sport forward. What started as an idea to bring talented people together to train has grown into something much bigger than I ever imagined. Every year, the flying gets more technical. The vision gets more ambitious. And somehow, the quality of the people and the team-first mindset become even stronger. I’m incredibly proud of what Tropical has become, but even more grateful for everyone who has been a part of it along the way. From our founder, Chulo Rodriguez, having the foresight to start Keep It Tropical, to all of the coaches, organizers, camera flyers, DZ staff, sponsors, and flyers who have helped bring the vision for this event to life.
