Little White Race 2026 || Pyranha ReactR || Slow is smooth, smooth is fast

This was my first time racing the Little White Salmon! My race lap was my 14th time down this river. I had a few goals going in: 1 under 17 minutes. 2 Don’t get out of breath. 3 have clean lines. I just barely met my first goal with a time of 16:59. The second goal was achieved more easily; throughout my lap, I just kept telling myself, “slow is smooth and smooth is fast.” All the major rapids went super well, except I got pinned on a rock right below the boulder sluice, which wasted about 10 seconds. There were a ton of small mess-ups in the in-between rapids that I want to iron out for next year. Overall, I’m stoked on how my race went, ended up in 31st, stoked to clean up my lines for next year 🤙 Thanks to all the homies for cheering me on from the sidelines; it gave me extra speed.
