Coleman Model 871 Diesel/Oil Heater. Still Blasts.

This is the Coleman Model 871 diesel/oil heater that is in our garage here in Northern California. It was put in by my Girlfriend's Grandfather. His name was Thurlow Lightel. We guess he installed this in the early 80's when he built the garage. It burns Number 2 red died diesel. I'm guessing it is maybe late '50s or early '60s. Who knows. All I know is it still rips and is in great shape. It will probably last another 50 years. But till I got my hands on it it 10 years ago, it hadn't been lit in a decade. Maybe longer. Now I burn it a couple times a week in the cold months. Except where I live it isn't that cold in the winter. We maybe get snow once every 2 or 3 years. And then is is only a couple inches. We are only 30 miles from the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy this old beast.
