REJOICE THAT YOU BELONG TO GOD | Catholic Morning Prayer | October 3, 2026 Begin this new day with Sacred Echoes of Grace and a Catholic Morning Prayer centered on the beautiful reminder of Jesus: our deepest joy is not found in what we accomplish, but in belonging to God. In today's Gospel from Luke 10:17–24, the seventy-two disciples return rejoicing after witnessing the power of Jesus' name. But Christ redirects their joy toward something much deeper: “Rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” Jesus reminds us that our greatest reason for joy is not success, recognition, spiritual accomplishments, or visible results. Our deepest identity is found in belonging to God. This morning, we bring before the Lord the things we hope to accomplish, the responsibilities entrusted to us, and the situations whose outcomes we cannot control. When our work succeeds, may we remain humble and grateful. When our efforts go unnoticed, may we remain faithful. When our prayers seem unanswered, may we continue to trust and persevere. We also reflect on the witness of Saint Theodore Guérin, whose life was marked by faith, perseverance, humility, and faithful service amid difficulties and uncertainty. Her example reminds us that following God does not always mean seeing the fruit of our efforts immediately. Sometimes holiness means simply continuing to say yes. As we continue through October, the month dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary, may Mary teach us to receive God's grace with humility and remain close to Jesus in every circumstance. Whatever this day brings, let us remember: We do not have to prove our worth. We belong to God. 🙏 Let us begin this day together, grateful for the gift of belonging to the Lord and ready to serve Him faithfully. “Rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” — Luke 10:20 🌹 Saint Theodore Guérin 📿 October — Month of the Most Holy Rosary ☀️ Catholic Morning Prayer | October 3, 2026 If this prayer blesses you: 🙏 SUBSCRIBE to Sacred Echoes of Grace ❤️ LIKE this prayer 📖 SHARE it with someone who needs a peaceful evening with God 💬 Leave your prayer intentions in the comments so our praying family can remember you.
