RADICAL LOVE Film Screening Interactive Discussion with Satish Kumar & Julio Hey 14 October 2026

On 14th October 2026 Shaktify arranged for a screening of Radical Love – The Life and Legacy of Satish Kumar. A Peace-pilgrim, life-long activist, former monk and founder of Schumacher College, Satish Kumar has been inspiring global change for over 50 years. An initiative by Brazilian Director Julio Hey, Radical Love is an intimate documentary and personal testimony that reveals the journey of Satish Kumar, an Indian peace activist who, 65 years ago, left his homeland to bring to the West the seeds of a deeper and more participatory way of relating to life on Earth. Radical Love offers a unique and inspiring approach to the contemporary social and environmental crisis. Rather than focusing on warnings and the severity of the challenges we face, it turns our attention to the mutuality, diversity, and interdependence that sustain life. The screening was followed by a live, interactive discussion with Satish and Julio and is captured in this video.
