EastEnders' Ian Beale jailed after being hit with eight-month sentence

EastEnders' Ian Beale jailed after being hit with eight-month sentence. EastEnders ended on a severe note tonight, as original character Ian Beale has been sentenced to eight months in prison - but images of tomorrow's episode show that the drama has only just begun. Ian, played by Adam Woodyatt since 1985, was sent to prison after he ran over four-year-old Jordan Fox whilst over the limit. Though he had only had one drink, he still failed a breathalyser test. Having put Jordan in a wheelchair, he plead guilty to a dangerous driving charge.
