After a long and exhausting day, this run on Clandestine in Killing Floor almost didn’t happen. Between fatigue, frustration, and even a cut on my hand, I wasn’t exactly in the best condition to record. But at some point, I just said “forget it” and went for it anyway.
I initially tried playing Support, but quickly realized that it wasn’t going to work out on this map. That’s when I switched things up and went with Berserker – a decision that ended up defining the entire run.
Clandestine, as always, delivered its fair share of chaos. Tight corridors, unpredictable situations, and getting stuck on zeds more than once made every wave feel like a potential run-ender. Playing Berserker on Hell on Earth here meant taking aggressive fights early on, including going head-to-head with Scrakes and Fleshpounds in situations where one mistake could’ve ended everything instantly.
There was even a moment where I went to check on a crawler I knew was nearby… only to get completely jumpscared in the darkness. Safe to say, that one caught me off guard more than expected.
For the boss fight, I switched back to Support and got the trader location I had planned for – which gave me a solid setup going into the final fight. However, things didn’t go as smoothly as planned. After missing a few shots, the Patriarch managed to hit me and leave me at just 2 HP. At that point, the run should’ve been over.
Instead, something unexpected happened. After I created a bit of distance, the Patriarch went into his healing animation, giving me just enough time to reload and finish him off before things could spiral out of control.
This was easily one of the most intense and “butt-clenching” runs I’ve had in a while. Not the cleanest, not the prettiest – but definitely one of the most memorable.
