Simon Glaser & Jake Johnson Roundtable

Simon Glaser alongside CD1 candidate Jake Johnson hosted a roundtable on the issues facing farmers and rural communities. Farmers, local business owners, healthcare professionals and advocates joined the candidates for the conversation. Attendees spoke on agriculture sustainability, healthcare access and emergency services, childcare, education and infrastructure development. The voices at the table made one thing clear: there is a lack of investment in rural communities in Southern Minnesota and it is drastically impacting the quality of life of its residents. Minnesotans in the region are ready for new leaders who value their lives at a state and federal level and who will advocate for policy that makes a meaningful difference.
